  • Transportation Update for Next School Year

    Effective this school year (2012/13), the Ministry of Education removed the funding line item for
    transportation and replaced it with what is now referred to as the “Student Location Factor”. This
    new allocation process resulted in a change for all districts with some receiving an increase and
    others a reduction of funding.

  • SMART Technology

    SMART Technology: Taylor Elementary School’s use of SMART Technology
    has assisted students’ learning needs!  Mrs. McDonell has been using
    her smart board to help her grade 3 students discover new strategies
    for numeracy.  Most  classrooms are equipped with interactive SMART
    Boards and Document Cameras to enhance the learning experiences for
    students.

  • PALS Program!

    PALS (Parents As Literary Supporters) After School Program with an
    aboriginal focus.  All kids are welcome to attend this once/week event
    hosted by Mrs. Law & Mrs. Bigfoot.  Parents and caregivers come as
    well to discuss how to support their students’
