Eco-Logical Show!
Because being ecological, it’s SO logical!

CréaSon combines reuse and recycling to the concept of original instruments endowed with a richness of sound that has nothing on conventional instruments. Thanks to CréaSon, hockey sticks, tin cans, pans and bicycle tubes become XYLO-HOCKEYS, CANS O’FUN, PANS O’FUN and CYCLO’FUN, a feast for the eyes and the ears!

Taylor Students learn some Dance moves with the SQX Dance Team!

Monday, 03. October 2016 by Craig Brownlee

Thursday and Friday afternoons were full of energy at Taylor Elementary School as the SQX dancers worked with groups of students at perfecting their dance moves and working on their teamwork and self-discipline. It all ended with all of our students and most staff demonstrating what they learned in a choreographed dance routine.

Some students on both days (only students on day 1 shown here) received a gift by showing the dance leaders great character attributes during the day, where the leaders worked with the students.

Note from our new Kindergarten teacher

Tuesday, 13. September 2016 by Doreen McDonell

We will be starting Kindergarten on Wednesday, September 14th and this day will be a half day where they will only come from 8:50am to 11:50am. On this day your child is only required to bring a snack, as they will be leaving before lunch. On Thursday, September 15th we will start our normal school hours for the year, which will be 8:50am to 2:45pm.

The school is nut free so make sure you are not packing anything in your child’s lunch that contains nuts as we have students with allergies. Also, please send a spare pair of clothes for your child in a Ziploc bag with their name on it.

We will be having Library every Tuesday and Thursday, where your child will be able to select a book from the Library to take home and it is important that your child bring their book back before the next Library day or they will not be able to select a new one.

Please feel free to contact me by email or by calling the school if you have any questions or concerns.

Ms. Hogan
