Taylor Bottle Drive Fundraiser

Tuesday, 05. November 2013 by Doreen McDonell

Taylor Elementary Bottle Drive

Saturday, November 9, 2013

We are trying to raise money for John S. Gurney’s visit to our school as an Author/Illustrator in residence from January 20 – 24, 2014.  John is the Author of Dinosaur Train and the Illustrator of over 100 children’s novels, such as the A-Z Mysteries, The Bailey Kids and Puppy Palace.  He will be working with all students at Taylor Elementary in a series of presentations and workshops focusing on writing and illustrating a book, which fits nicely into our Book Project here at Taylor Elementary.

Please place any bottles, cans, juice boxes etc. in this bag and either drop it off at the school on November 9, 2013 between 9am – 2pm, or leave it on the sidewalk/end of your driveway for pick-up.  If you have more than one bag or cannot use your bag, please give it to another family/home to use.  We will accept bags of recycling until December 1!

If anyone can help for the day or have any questions, please contact Ms. Cooper at the school at 250-789-3323.  Thank-you for all of your support!
