From the Superintendent of Schools:

Thanks to a new program announced by the Minister of Education Mike Bernier on August 10, 2016, SD 60 will be able to apply for additional funding to be used against transportation costs. Successful application for this funding will allow SD 60 to suspend its current practice of collecting a bus registration fee. Families will still need to register their children with transportation but will no longer be asked to pay the $100 fee. Parents who have previously paid the fee in advance of the school year can expect their fees to be refunded in the fall.
