We will be celebrating Family Literacy Day at Taylor Elementary School on FRIDAY, JANUARY 25.  On Friday, we encourage students to wear their pajamas to school and bring a small blanket or teddy bear to snuggle with while they read.  Our wonderful PAC will be providing all students with a pancake breakfast in the morning. Please keep in mind will be start breakfast by feeding the kindergartens first, so you may want to feed your older children a light breakfast to tide them over until it is their turn. The day’s schedule is:
9:00-10:30 Pancake breakfast and board games in classrooms
10:45-12:00 “Read and Feed” sponsored by the Library – prizes will be awarded during this time but please provided your child with a healthy ‘book-friendly’ snack to eat while they read.
12:45-1:00 Book read over the PA to all students
1:00-2:00 Collaborative writing in house groups
2:00-2:30 Whole school activities in the gym – group picture and story drama
