Welcome back to school week is ending with a pancake breakfast put on by the PAC.  Students are also encouraged to come to school in their PJs.

Bus Fees to Be Rescinded

Thanks to a new program announced by the Minister of Education Mike Bernier on August 10, 2016, SD 60 will be able to apply for additional funding to be used against transportation costs.

Reminder to all parents:
I see that school supplies are out!  That time is coming but I want to remind you that, for a fee, Taylor Elementary will provide your child with all the supplies they need.

15 Minutes of Fun ABC Life Literacy Canada encourages families to have “15 Minutes of Fun” learning together every day. Engaging in literacy activities as a family improves a child’s skills and also helps adults keep their skills sharp.

Yesterday, Baldonnel students and staff spent an hour with us during our learning in depth hour. Students shared their excitement for learning and we filled the Taylor hill at lunch time with a few students:)

What a day!  Students spent their LiD time today teaching fellow students about their topics.  The students divided into smaller groups and used their ‘public speaking’ strategies to deliver amazing informational sessions.  Congratulations TES students!
