The 6th parent conference is Saturday, March 9th at North Peace Secondary School.  There are a few interesting twists this year.

Attend alone or with your children.  You can bring your kids 3+ years and older.  Either register them for child minding (3 – 5 years),

A favorite children’s story of James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl opens live on the Fort St. John stage February 15. Stage North will perform this imaginative children’s tale on Feb 15,

There are many events coming in February for families with young children.  Especially at this time of year, we hope to offer support for parents and children through play, physical activity and healthy living initiatives.  Here is an overview of some of what is available in February

We will be celebrating Family Literacy Day at Taylor Elementary School on FRIDAY, JANUARY 25.  On Friday, we encourage students to wear their pajamas to school and bring a small blanket or teddy bear to snuggle with while they read.

School District 60 is offering an excellent opportunity to learn more about self-regulation.  Colleen Politano presents around the province on many educational topics and has published several books.  This session is focused on the work of Stuart Shanker.  His newest book Calm,

Join us in celebrating National Sweater Day on Thursday February 7th!
Last year millions of Canadians turned down the heat and threw on a sweater to show their support for taking action against climate change. If Candians turned down their thermostats this winter,
